Coming back from our hiatus, we are proud to announce our New Summer Boat Party Series, Create. Waves.! Going down Friday, April 29th onboard the Henrietta in Downtown Wilmington. Watching the sunset over the Cape Fear River while we listen to one of Carolina’s quick-rising House Music stars, Diskull, with support from Wilmington’s own Snowah, ZFMOODY, and Ded Teddy on the boat and after-party at The Lookout at The Iron Front. As always, in proper sonic fashion, we will be featuring a Funktion-One sound rig, provided by Infrasonic Sound Systems, for those deep bassline frequen-seas.
Blissfully fusing together the groove of house, the bounce of breaks, and the tenacity of modern bass music elements, the bone-shaking style of Diskull (aka Tyler Davidson) is sure to move the feet of any ‘living’ bystander in the path of his sound. Since 2017 when Tyler created the moniker Diskull, he has garnered releases on multiple industry-leading imprints such asInsomniac, Dirtybird, Box of Cats, Country Club Disco, and Do Not Duplicate. His ‘Bodies Rushing’ remix released in early 2021 was met with great support, landing radio show plays by CID on Diplo’s Revolution, Golf Clap on Insomniac Radio, and UK’s Deeper Purpose on Repopulate Mars’ Jumpin’ Jam Fest live stream. In the latter half of 2021, he won the EDC Las Vegas Discovery Project for his remix of SIDEPIECE’s “Acrobatic” on Insomniac Records, which landed him a release on the official remix package and a booking at the world-renowned festival. Diskull also started his own record label called Groovy Bone in Charlotte, NC late 2018, which has charted in the Beatport Top 100 for each of its compilations, hitting #1 in tech and bass house multiple times while seeing support from top DJs such as Shiba San, Showtek, and Dash Berlin. It is evident that Diskull, determined to continue creating his own sound and building a loyal following, is set out to prove why he’s emerged as one of house music’s favorite new DJ/Producers.

Wilmington’s Electronic Music community would simply not be the same if it weren’t for Snowah. Do not be fooled by his sweet treats, because Snowah‘s sets are downright NASTY. His tasty beats, paired with filthy basslines have moved the hearts and soles on packed dances floors in the area like no other. At a young age, Snowah, has always been drawn to music. Learning a multitude of instruments through his upbringing, he has always been surrounded by music & sound. During his college career, he made a name for himself leading the Monster Energy UNCW Up&Up Festival crew, landing him on multiple festivals with big-name artists like Slushii and more. He has hardly scratched the surface of what he wants to accomplish and we expect big things to come from this young talented artist.
Coming to shake your booty, we have enlisted “the dub’s” ever-so-talented producer/DJ, ZFMOODY. Blazing a trail with his originals, remixes, and edits, his performance will leave you begging for more. Known best for his love of House Music and hard-hitting Bass Music, his sets bring a perfect balance of atmosphere to the dance party. Seamlessly blending tracks and creating a story with sound, this audio wizard can bring your animalistic tendencies into action out of nowhere. Having shared the stage with legends like Zeds Dead, Dimension, Pegboard Nerds, KLO, and barnacle boi, there’s no telling where his next track will take you.
