With his musical journey genesis beginning in Wilmington, NC, it’s only fitting for things to come full circle to his coastal come up. barnacle boi has consistently been putting out heat left and right, sending him from coastal to postal. This time around bringing you some of North Carolina’s rising talent producing huge waves in the Dance Music community, featuring a release party for Chase Water’s newest track with Mike Snyder, “Regardless“, with support from Chandler Sinclair, Karmic Phoenix, and a special farewell set from OZZTIN. Boating down the Cape Fear River, bumping a Funktion-One sound system supplied by Infrasonic Sound Systems, the vibes are unmatched. The party doesn’t stop at the boat either! Your boat party ticket includes your entry to the after-party going down at The Lookout at Iron Front, just a short walk away from the docks.

An absolute menace for House music, Wrightsville Beach-based producer/DJ, Chandler Sinclair, is a force to be reckoned with. Showing off his creativity in his latest release “No Other Man” with ChrisGooding, the two took the pop icon Christina Aguilera‘s track “Ain’t No Other Man” and made it into a Tech House banger. The catchy sampling of the chorus locks the listener into a spell-binding beat that shows why there isn’t another man like this rising star. With a keen liking for artists such as Endor, John Summit, and Daft Punk, his musical influence is rooted in some of House Music’s greats. His sound wave selections are sure to keep you vibing while we cruise down the Cape Fear River and toast the sun-filled skies away.

Taking his original music for a ride might take you into an interdimensional, fractalized multiverse. Channeling alien lifeform-like sounds with earthly hip-hop samples and beats beam up crowds into OZZTIN‘s intergalactic bass ship. Grinding since 2019 on his sound engineering and music production, his hard work has landed him on lineups alongside ATLiens, TVBOO, Chomppa, and has scored him releases on Wubaholics, Ay Yo Trip!, No Hype Music, and Trip Sitters Club. With his path leading him to other states, OZZTIN has dedicated this set as a farewell to end his residency living in Wilmington. Watching the sunset over the Cape Fear River while we listen to one of Carolina’s quick-rising House Music stars, Diskull, with support from Wilmington’s own Snowah, ZFMOODY, and Ded Teddy on the boat and after-party at The Lookout at The Iron Front. As always, in proper sonic fashion, we will be featuring a Funktion-One sound rig, provided by Infrasonic Sound Systems, for those deep bassline frequen-seas.
Blissfully fusing together the groove of house, the bounce of breaks, and the tenacity of modern bass music elements, the bone-shaking style of Diskull (aka Tyler Davidson) is sure to move the feet of any ‘living’ bystander in the path of his sound. Since 2017 when Tyler created the moniker Diskull, he has garnered releases on multiple industry-leading imprints such asInsomniac, Dirtybird, Box of Cats, Country Club Disco, and Do Not Duplicate. His ‘Bodies Rushing’ remix released in early 2021 was met with great support, landing radio show plays by CID on Diplo’s Revolution, Golf Clap on Insomniac Radio, and UK’s Deeper Purpose on Repopulate Mars’ Jumpin’ Jam Fest live stream. In the latter half of 2021, he won the EDC Las Vegas Discovery Project for his remix of SIDEPIECE’s “Acrobatic” on Insomniac Records, which landed him a release on the official remix package and a booking at the world-renowned festival. Diskull also started his own record label called Groovy Bone in Charlotte, NC late 2018, which has charted in the Beatport Top 100 for each of its compilations, hitting #1 in tech and bass house multiple times while seeing support from top DJs such as Shiba San, Showtek, and Dash Berlin. It is evident that Diskull, determined to continue creating his own sound and building a loyal following, is set out to prove why he’s emerged as one of house music’s favorite new DJ/Producers.

Wilmington’s Electronic Music community would simply not be the same if it weren’t for Snowah. Do not be fooled by his sweet treats, because Snowah‘s sets are downright NASTY. His tasty beats, paired with filthy basslines have moved the hearts and soles on packed dances floors in the area like no other. At a young age, Snowah, has always been drawn to music. Learning a multitude of instruments through his upbringing, he has always been surrounded by music & sound. During his college career, he made a name for himself leading the Monster Energy UNCW Up&Up Festival crew, landing him on multiple festivals with big-name artists like Slushii and more. He has hardly scratched the surface of what he wants to accomplish and we expect big things to come from this young talented artist.
Coming to shake your booty, we have enlisted “the dub’s” ever-so-talented producer/DJ, ZFMOODY. Blazing a trail with his originals, remixes, and edits, his performance will leave you begging for more. Encapsulating Bass House, Deep House, and Tech House into his sets, be prepared to cut shapes and shuffle to his beats as he opens up the night and sends us out into the Cape Fear River.
Rounding off our lineup of Wilmington’s finest, we bring you the immaculate & fierce, DED TEDDY. Known best for his love of House Music and hard-hitting Bass Music, his sets bring a perfect balance of atmosphere to the dance party. Seamlessly blending tracks and creating a story with sound, this audio wizard can bring your animalistic tendencies into action out of nowhere. Having shared the stage with legends like Zeds Dead, Dimension, Pegboard Nerds, KLO, and barnacle boi, there’s no telling where his next track will take you.
Supertask just announced his very own boat party fitted with Funktion One Sound setting sail Thursday, October 28th on board the Henrietta in historic downtown Wilmington, NC on the Cape Fear River with support from Bass Canviss, Tymellord, and Live Art by Bryan Stacy. Capping off the night with an official WAVES after-party at Coglin’s with a very special guest back-to-back set from barnacle boi and Pixel Dust, and support Bass Canviss, Tymellord, and WolfPotato.
With deep roots in hip-hop and a focus towards immersion, Supertask creates sonic landscapes that dance between the intensity and stillness of the human consciousness. His offerings of musical escapism are consumed by the concept of infinity, and with a background in IT, Supertask often utilizes code and programming in his artistic vision. A vision that his loyal community, the Dev Team, is directly involved in.
Blending both analog and digital sound design, his unique approach has proven to be a driving force in the forward progression of electronic music. Through soundscapes that feel sentient, interactive live streams, and mind-bending visuals, Supertask is changing the way that we consume art.

Joining the ranks for support on the boat, Bass Canviss makes his debut aboard the Henrietta, and he will be playing a set at the official after-party at Coglin’s. Third Coast-born & raised in Houston TX, Bass Canviss spent his young years as a pro skater and musician. At the age of 5, he began learning to read and play the keys, violin, guitar, drums, and other percussion instruments. By 12 he mastered the art of spinning on vinyl records while showcasing his jazz roots by joining the band; “Catching Redlights.” Evan moved to Charlotte, NC in early adulthood, where he began expanding his Electronic Dance Music portfolio. He formed his well-acclaimed bass music alias; known as “Bass Canviss.”
With deep Third Coast roots, hip-hop influences, and a passion for deep bass lines, Bass Canviss produces a universal and dynamic sound. It is authentic and eclectic, curated by live instruments and electronic synthesizers. His production techniques range from organic jazz guitar and keys to recording spastic beat pad patterns with his MPC, then uniquely arranged to throw a colorful spin on lo-fi hip hop. Underground defines his sound, raw, experimental, and overall untouchable. In his latest mix release, you will get a great idea of what he has to offer. We recommend you give it a listen.
On the boat tagging and at the official after-party on support, Tymellord, brings his deep knowledge in dubstep and experimental bass music. Founder of Seventh Circle, throwing events in Eastern NC, to rocking the party behind the decks, the man has the skills to take the party up a notch. His style aligns with that of the underground. Uncovering hidden gems of songs through his sets, blending tracks seamlessly.
Taking bits and pieces from the experience and translating those feelings onto canvas, Wilmington’s very own Bryan Stacy will be performing a live art piece on the boat. Owner of Tattoo and Art Studio, Anvil & Ink, located in Downtown Wilmington off Castle St. His art is making a bigger impact every day and his humble demeanor is felt through his actions. Ian Oliver (professionally known as barnacle boi) is an American record producer, DJ, vocalist, and visual artist based on the East Coast. barnacle boi developed his production style during his few years living in Denver, Colorado and has stuck with it ever since. He is known for his original work, as well as his production for artists such as Bones (TeamSESH), Holly Stell, Madi Larson, and more. He has received support and recognition from Alice Glass (former frontwoman of the well-known electronic duo “Crystal Castles”), Finn Wolfhard of the Netflix series “Stranger Things”, and various other musicians/public figures. Many of barnacle boi’s releases have included remixes of early 90’s/2000’s classic hits such as “All The Things She Said” by tAtU, “Youth of the Nation” by POD, “Crawling” by Linkin Park, “I Miss You” by Blink 182, and more. Also dialing in some huge original hit records, “Don’t Dwell.”, “Overcome.”, “Let Go.,” and more. His style is best described as emotional, yet bass-heavy, nostalgic/atmospheric trap music.
Opening up for artists like Griz, Marvel Years, Break Science, Digital Ethos, and so many more, Pixel Dust is on the rise with a signature style of underground music, integrating melodic live instruments and passionate driven bass.
Best known as a Wilmington, NC native, Pixel Dust has been building his solo career as a talented Electronic Musician since 2010. Influenced by the popular emergence of dubstep while in college Pixel Dust and friends would throw house parties for the community, culture, and sounds of their hometown. This eventually landed them in local clubs that turned the parties into a new career.
His signature style has become synonymous with a diverse collection of melodies and compositions that will surely shake the room, look out for Pixel Dust, he is an artist on the rise!
Wilmington has a gem that we must protect at all costs and that gem we must protect is Wolf Potato. A long-time local and an underground electronic, rock, hip hop, and jam band music enthusiast, Wolf Potato‘s wide variety of taste in music helps him guide the crowd’s energy and speak a journey through sounds.
Putting the cherry on top, visual extraordinaire Optic Vibrations joins the ranks for the after-party.
