Attendees will be able to enjoy the amazing sounds from some of the most influential names in the electronic music scene all from the safety of their hotel room balcony. Luckily, our ReVibe team has members with plenty of experience with socially distanced events including drive-in and vertical hotel events. Flashback: GDubz – Create. Frequency Friday, January 24th, 2020

The first Frequency Friday ever was brought to you by Bass Krew Collective and Create. on Friday the 24th of January of the most unpredictable year, 2020. In the center of Charlotte, NC there is a beautiful 3 story venue called Brooklyn Lounge which hosted all of the famed Frequency Friday events before a horrible pandemic postponed events for most of the year. Unbeknownst to the attendees, this spectacular night would go down in history as one of the few Create. events of 2020; a night filled with warm memories and wonderful grins of joy! We were blessed with an awesome group of artists, musicians and visualizers. On the first floor we had the local house legends FreeSurf and Diskull keeping the incoming guests shuffling in line as they gathered inside the Groovy Bone Lounge. The second story had the main stage: featuring Minty, Disco JohnnieRave CharlesBass Canviss and GDubz; a live art corner featuring Kayla Riska and a vending booth with the exotic wares of GB Unique Creations. Lastly our friend Optic Vibrations took care of visuals from the VIP balcony on the 3rd and final floor!

Kayla Riska & Optic Vibrations

On this frisky Friday night, Create. was happy to invite the colorful painter Kayla Riska and the incredible visual jockey Optic Vibrations. You can see the excellent choice of colors implemented carefully by Kayla as she carefully constructed a cute koala climbing a tree! In the meantime, the visuals extraordinaire Optic Vibrations had the crowd’s eyes glued to the main stage LED screens that showed a myriad of magical geometric patterns that followed the main stage performances without flaw. A clever combination of live art and killer visuals was the perfect artistic atmosphere for the acts of the night.

Starting off the night for the Groovy Bone Lounge, FreeSurf had the house fiends flabbergasted with a fun range of beats and wubs. As a veteran disc jockey and aspiring producer this artist had a great collection of breaks and tech house beats (here) that filled the lounge with warm and vivid vibes. It was comforting to see the incoming patrons get down to FreeSurf‘s music in the lounge where many gathered to smoke hookah and chill before exploring the rest of the Brooklyn Lounge venue! The Groovy Bone boss, Diskull, was close by to go back to back all night.

When you think of house music in North Carolina, specifically Charlotte, the first name that comes to mind is the indescribable Diskull. As a member of many house and disco collectives this experienced DJ and producer has a number of original tunes (here) released on his own label Groovy Bone, and other popular labels like DirtybirdBrooklyn Fire and Noir Sur Blanc. Consequently, Diskull had plenty of ammunition to shovel down his barrel of beats on this Friday night! With a strong following in the Charlotte area, Diskull knew exactly what vibes to bring and had a chill and cool flow with his future house and disco/eurobeat set-list.

Beginning the main stage performances was the UNC Charlotte favorite Minty, the go-to DJ for all your college house party needs. We had a faithful crowd of supporters for this Queen City musician, as he used a combination of trap, hip hop and dubstep to bring some electrifying energy into the venue. With a bright and vibrant future ahead of him, Minty is someone to keep an eye on after a great opening set! Create. is always striving to book the best local and regional talent.

Disco Johnnie

Next to carry the torch of wobbles was the jack of all trades Disco Johnnie. His wide range of musical genres when DJing is only comparable to his wide range of roles in the music industry; including event production, operations management and talent buying. The Carolina’s are grateful for this pioneer Create.or, which was made evident by an excited group of dancers during his dynamic throw-down. Dubstep, drum & bass and twerk tracks are just a few of the tunes this seasoned performer packed in his playlist for the night. Disco Johnnie kept the energy growing with a surprise B2B with Sam Throckmorton as the night’s following acts continued to arrive!

Rave Charles

A Bass Krew Collective founder and currently a Space Kids member, Rave Charles has had his fair share of performances on the Create. stage; thanks to his contagious stage presence and exuberant experimental bass tracks. With his autograph mask on it’s hard to see the smile on Rave Charles‘s face, but his energy is made evident with his bass heavy bops and underground sounds. This rare talent has always had a big heart for the music scene and the crowd came out to show their support in the form of ‘rude boy bass faces’. The energy was kept elevated with Rave Charles‘s set and was continued by another familiar Charlotte face: Bass Canviss.

Bass Canviss

Out of all the Charlotte veterans in the scene, no one can deny the positive impact Bass Canviss has spread throughout the local music scene. Organizing events and bringing people together has always been a passion of this talented artist. Bass Canviss has been on a multitude of line-ups for an incredible range of successful disc jockeys and music producers. Being direct support for GDubz was just another impressive addition to his resume. With bass in his name, it’s no surprise that Bass Canviss had a tight grip on the best underground bass tunes and original tunas in his well balanced set this night. The crowd was out in force anticipating the headlining set from the legend GDubz whilst enjoying a killer Bass Canviss performance filled with originals (here).

GDubz had a pristine playlist picked out on his pioneer Frequency Friday performance. Among his great group of original tunes (here) this dubstep guru imploded with an explosion of intricate sounds and underground tracks. The experienced DJ and producer inspired a bunch of younger artists to remix one of his original tracks for this specific night in particular. The patrons in attendance were loving every minute of the energy brought by GDubz and friends on this monumental night, his remixes were all on point and provided the best environment for everyone to let loose and enjoy a night of dubstep and grimy bass sounds!

Contest Winners: Euphoria, Joneses & Phist

GDubz‘s remix competition was on his track “Dat Part“. There were about 20 different local DJs and producers that entered to participate in this remix competition. The best remix entry would be rewarded with an on stage performance of the remixed track after the headlining set! GDubz was so impressed with the entries that he chose multiple winners. Euphoria, Joneses & Phist all had excellent entries and performed their renditions remarkably. The crowd showed their support for these aspiring producers and Create. was once again satisfied with another successful night of fellowship, love and art!

Flashback: Jason Leech – Create. Saturday September 28th, 2019

Phyphr, Bass Canviss, Jordan Castle & Jason Leech

On the 28th of September, national drink beer day, Jason Leech and many other talented musicians came together to bring a beautiful arrangement of live music and jubilee thanks to Create. and Bass Krew Collective. Unlike your typical Electronic Dance Music event, 3 out of the 4 artists that played on this unique night brought out some form of Live instrumentation! As direct support for Jason Leech we had the funky guitar guru Phyphr accompanied by the bass-bandit Bass Canviss and the joyful joyrider Jordan Castle. All artists brought their ‘A-game’ and a high degree of professionalism making this an indelible night of terrific tunes!

Murphy Fuller Media, Viscous Flow & Sketchy Eddie

The live artists present were none other than Murphy Fuller Media, Viscous Flow and the incredible Sketchy Eddie. All of which used their awesome artistic talents to create beautiful pieces of artwork that will forever be appreciated. Murphy Fuller Media mostly concentrates on concrete shapes and flawless line work within his abstract art, but has recently been improving on his free-hand pieces of artwork. The talented Viscous Flow has created wonders with paints and oils keeping things colorful and creative. Lastly, Sketchy Eddie and his unique style of digital ‘trippy’ art is truly mesmerizing; it’s liquid flow and mixed color patterns create one-of-a-kind portraits and surreal works of art . Create. is very active in supporting our local painters and artists; be sure to check out our featured artists from past and future events!

Jordan Castle

Jordan Castle started the night off with his signature array of dubstep bangers to liven up the crowd, on this pleasurable night. By focusing on the most tempting trap beats and dubious dubstep drops he had a strong start with this Charlotte crowd. One thing we can always expect from a Jordan Castle set is his exuberant energy and contagious charisma, which he brought with intense vigor! His passion for music could be seen in his energetic set and can also be found in his creative edits on his Soundcloud, here.

Bass Canviss

Following his talented young friend Jordan Castle, Bass Canviss got the house bumping with his brilliant bass-heavy songs and his beautiful blood-red guitar. A veteran in the Charlotte music scene, Bass Canviss knows the right sounds to get his fellow ‘Charlotteans’ moving. He combined his guitar skills with some of the most unique experimental bass music beats out now. With his wide range of original and underground sounds, which can be found here, Bass Canviss continues to push boundaries with his music and gentle spirit.

After a masterful set by Bass Canviss, the crowd continued to gather on the dance floor for a family favorite Phyphr! Filled with a phantom of funky sounds Phyphr frolicked thru his set with a fat stack of playful songs, combining his fabled guitar playing skills with jam-filled beats. His beautiful teal-blue guitar shined on stage as he easily slid his fingers from fret to fret. This young man knows the recipe for success and continues to impress talent agents everywhere with his original tunes, found here, and his positive personality!

Jason Leech

Jamming to some Jason Leech on the weekend was an undeniable treat for the Charlotte cats that crowded Crown Station on this lovely night. With so much talent emitting from this prodigy’s fingers, listeners were entranced in watching Jason Leech perform on 3 different keyboards. We all awaited the plethora of remixes and covers that has made this talented keyboardist stand out in the music scene. Without fail Jason Leech launched a spaceship filled with incredible remixes/covers including some LSDream tracks which filled our ears with ecstasy! The night was wrapped up appropriately when all the artists gathered on stage with all their instruments in hand to finish off the night in unity and with plenty of friendly smiles.

The Polish Ambassador • San Francisco, CA

(2020 Red Rocks Alternate Reality)

Part musician, part activist. The Polish Ambassador is paving the way for a new breed of musician.

The Polish Ambassador (real name David Sugalski) is raising the bar for what it means to be a professionally touring musician. Sure, the electronic musician lays claim to producing the sweetest beats this side of the Milky Way Galaxy, but the world’s funkiest diplomat is also using his popularity to steer the millennial generation toward a nourishing and sustainable way of relating with art, community and the planet. From birthing the Permaculture Action Movement (a movement where the energy of show/festival goers is catalyzed into community action), to creating a program where nutritious beverage options are available at music venues on a routed TPA tour, the ambassador is using his clout to make real, tangible change, and along the way inspiring hundreds of thousands.

With a stack of 17 albums and countless remixes, the jumpsuited one ( that’s right…TPA rocks the freshest jumpsuit) has swirled together a cornucopia of music for your auditory senses…and your booty. Over the last decade, his sound has dipped and swirled through a staggering range of styles, each album exploring uncharted sonic territory. Warm, analogue dreamwave; mind-altering glitch; world-infused groove; bass-fueled breaks; sexified down-tempo; electric lullabies; and psy-fi funk are just a few of the genres that have poured from the Ambassador’s soul into earbuds and ghetto-blasters across the galaxy.

In the live setting, expect to be taken on a masterfully crafted and evocative journey mixing old and new into an auditory canvas that will spark nostalgia, titilate your senses, and make you drop that bottom like it was ‘92…3092. All of that music you hear? It’s all created via solar power on TPA’s off-grid community homestead AND it’s available for free or “Name Your Price.” Just one of the ways The Ambassador says “Thank You” to all of the people out there who have supported the project along the way.

So if TPA’s earth-space escalade is docking at a city or festival near you…dust off your onesie, get ready to boogie and gear up for an epic community action day. Welcome to the future, where we don’t just party. We party with a purpose.

Flashback: Charlesthefirst w/ Live art by Chris Dyer – Create. Saturday April 6th, 2019

It was a bright and beautiful 32nd day of lent when the “Family With No Name” gathered in the halls of The Blind Tiger in Greensboro, NC to await the arrival of the low-tempo bass-guru Charlesthefirst. People came from as far as Virginia and Maryland just to catch this unique line-up, hitting the east coast of the United States.

Not only were the incredibly talented producers Of The Trees and Abelation showcasing their intricate tunes on The Ascent Tour, influential locals Scripta and Bass Canviss were also presenting their best tunes to summon the perfect atmosphere for the headlining slot.

Meanwhile, the psychedelic artist extraordinaire, Chris Dyer, was simultaneously creating one of his most beautiful canvases to date among some of the best entrancingly original producers in the EDM game right now.

Chris Dyer’s artwork is one of the most imaginative and enticingly colorful styles of visionary art being created today. This Peruvian-Canadian artist has inspired art-lovers all over the world, from his small beginnings in Ontario to his great success internationally, Chris Dyer and his “Positive Creations” have been a cornerstone in the ‘psychedelic-art’ community.

It was a very unique experience having such a renowned painter paint, while musicians simultaneously painted their own unique artwork on a canvas of sound. Charlesthefirst really outdid himself by playing an almost completely original set. He showcased The Ascent, his second full-length album, skillfully using the best parts of each cleverly created original tune to make a tasty set alongside his plethora of original tunes and edits.

It was very evident that Charlesthefirst had tuned in with the sold-out crowd as he unleashed a flawless set that had my friends and I dancing the entire night.

Don’t miss out on our upcoming VR event on July 31st, 2020!

Headlining this event we had the legendarily elusive Saxsquatch, the dreamy guitarist from the coast Phyphr as direct support, the “OG” NC beat-maker Cut Rugs, the creative sound craftsman KirbyBright and the swiss-army-knife prodigy Dredlok. All these magical creators of sound gathered together to orchestrate a perfect line-up of unique sounds and instrumentation in the spacious fields of the Hounds Drive-In! Before we go into the individual performances at this event, the Create. team wants to recognize the superb performance done by our “Visual Jockeys” truffulatree.tvPapa BearSacramental Studios, and Optic Vibrations all of whom coordinated with their respective DJs/Producers in an exceptional manner during this epoch-making occasion.

Live broadcasting/photography was professionally done by Sunday Swerve. Be sure to check out the multiple angles and drone shots from the stream on the Sunday Swerve, Twitch, channel HERE, HERE, & HERE. One of the best Live streams Create. has had the pleasure to host!

Another honorable mention goes to our old friends at GB Unique Creations for selling our merchandise and many other interesting trinkets for our curious patrons on this wonderful Wednesday afternoon. We also are very thankful for the cooperative and professional staff at the Hounds Drive-In, that allowed this magical evening to come to fruition! (We are planning to return soon…!)

We had a strong start with Dredlok, a multi-instrumentalist, and his cornucopia of underground ‘wubs’ and original tunes! This lovable musician and songwriter had our earliest attendees bobbing their heads and shaking their tails.

On this night Dredlok blessed the crowd’s ears with tantalizing original reggae tunes combined with bass-thumping bass-lines and vitalizing vocals, reminding the crowd on how to ‘feel the rhythm’.

Combining his original songs, where he skillfully sings and performs his ukulele simultaneously, with original flips and remixes is one of this magical man’s specialties! Remember although he may have dreadlocks our long-haired friend is “Not a Rasta“.

Wilmington, NC showed out big time to support their amazingly talented friends including Phyphr, one of the other artists on this stacked set of stunning up-and-coming stars. With the energy provided by his generous and supportive fans, Dredlok showed his true talent once again with another sensual set in the Create. history books.

Another highly talented musician KirbyBright‘s was next up after Dredlok‘s compelling introduction to this landmark night. He came out strong with some up-beat tunes to re-vitalize the crowd as the night continued smoothly.

KirbyBright an Asheville, NC native came sporting his infamously colorful Volkswagen Van upon his entrance, parking it side stage. The Ashe-villians all showed out in full force to support their incredibly talented friends.

With his positive message and loving energy, KirbyBright inspired many to get in the zone with his lo-fi frequencies intertwined with bass-moving bangers. The night was perfectly prepared by this practiced performer!

His excellent performance and engaging execution earned him a lot of love from the crowd. The Undergrowth provided some very talented artists throughout this unique line-up, including the nights closing act Cut Rugs.

Following his faithful friends, Phyphr, came thru fitting his funky-filled guitar inspiring listeners to frolic about their parking spots as he performed on his fascinating frets! This guitar-wielding prodigy has always infected people with his joyous smile and positive outlook on reality.

Phyphr is known for free-styling amazing guitar riffs to almost any genre of funky-filled music. From his jam band flavor to his divine digit moving solos this beach-town native had one of the most excited crowds of the night.

There’s just something about this talented individual’s music that makes you transcend into a world of musical bliss. If you need some “Feelin’ so Good” music with a hint of modern-day bass-funk, Phyphr‘s original ‘tunas’ will have you feeling just fine!

Phyphr was the perfect direct support for the elusive headlining act Saxsquatch. Having so many talented instrumentalists and producers was the only logical way to make this the best possible line-up for the first EDM drive-in show in North Carolina during the COVID pandemic of 2020. Create. will continue to support this amazing artist that always delivers!

Saxsquatch did an A-1 job performing his prime time slot on this one-of-a-kind collaboration of artists. His incredible diversity among musical genres during his set had something for all eras of musical grandness. Jazzy and romantic songs were often followed by upbeat electronic pop creating a beautiful mixture of old school and modern-day tunes.

Electric Avenue was a great success thanks to the wide age range of fans that Saxsquatch‘s music seems to attract. Having a well-rounded fan base on top of a very well rounded set-list of music made this particular headliner a pioneering success!

The amazing visuals provided by our tremendous team of visual jockeys combined with an eye-capturing live performance of Saxsquatch was a superb sensation. It was the first time that our team has booked such a furry and fun friend!

Although he didn’t finish off the night, Saxsquatch‘s performance was a stand-alone masterpiece! He successfully swayed the hearts of our music-starved audience in a sensational symphony spewed from his saxophone. It was evident that his experience and musical talent were at a level near perfection, Saxsquatch‘s set was flawless!

Cut Rugs

Finalizing the night was an NC favorite Cut Rugs, a Greensboro native that now resides in the amicable lands of Asheville, NC. This skillful producer had a ton of amazing tracks that he debuted during this beautiful night.

As another artist representing The Undergrowth on this night, Cut Rugs had a full load to leverage. Even with some minor technical difficulties, he persevered to present his unique sound in any way possible.

Cut Rugs made a great impact on the audience to close the night by providing continuous tunes for all to enjoy until the night was over. Little did we know that several artists would come together to go back-to-back for an extra special closing to the final set!

By the end of Cut Rugs unique set we had several artists gearing up to re-join the stage. The crowd clearly wanted more after such a grand array of musical talent! Cut Rugs, Dredlok, and KirbyBright soon congregated to the stage in order to share the spotlight in a momentous trio of talented artists. The rest of the night was a unique experience shared by a great crowd of loving individuals!

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 6 months, you have probably noticed the incredible and diverse range of events happening in the United States during the highly anticipated year of 2020. The overwhelming amount of frustration, built up emotion, and lack of leadership in this country has truly brought it to its knees. The unexpected appearance of a worldwide pandemic, currently affecting the planet called Earth, was just the start of 2020’s trials and tribulations.

This pandemic forced people all over the world to quarantine themselves and take many precautionary actions to prevent the death of those with compromised immune systems (i.e. the elderly and those with immune system diseases). This had a huge impact on the economy, specifically the entertainment & music industry. Live events of all kinds were having to be cancelled. Create. had to cancel and reschedule 3 shows in order to keep our community safe. With fewer things to distract our day-to-day lives, with having to force ourselves to stay home, with losing many of our jobs and forms of income, with all the greatest problems in the U.S. bubbling under the surface: IT IS WITH EXTREME CONSEQUENCE that the MURDER of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department has shaken the United States to its core.

One of the biggest and most troubling facts about the United States is the unnecessary level of Police Brutality and Racism that has plagued our Police Forces for centuries. The simple fact is that the U.S. is dealing with Institutional Racism and a corrupt Justice System which needs drastic reformation. Additionally, the fact that Racial-Profiling exists is one of the many ways that the corrupt Justice System in the United States incarcerates “5 times more African Americans than whites”(NAACP, 2020). The use of excessive force combined with a racist system that is often lead by devout white supremacists could only lead to the chaos George Floyd’s death triggered in our “Land of the Free”.

“If African Americans and Hispanics were incarcerated at the same rates as whites, prison and jail populations would decline by almost 40%” (NAACP, 2020).

For years and years, the U.S. education system has hidden the truly disgusting history of slavery and modern-day discrimination. It has not helped by simply acknowledging slavery’s existence and failing to educate our youth on how to avoid racial stereotypes and microaggressions. Instead, we should be educating Americans on the dangers of white-privilege on the development of individuals and their actions towards their peers. This lack of education has led to the extreme divide between races in a land full of every culture and language one can imagine.

So let’s take a step back and see the big picture: we have a justice system that favors certain demographics, we have a police force that often racially profiles and incarcerates minorities at an unfair ratio and we have an education system that fails to teach it’s citizens on the full history and future prevention of racism in America. [Let’s not get me started on how prison labor is a form of modern-day slavery and the fact that minorities make up the majority of prisons.] With all these variables, it is no surprise that this corrupt system has forced the hands of U.S. citizens to take up their signs and protest for what’s right. All lives CANNOT matter until BLACK LIVES MATTER. (DONATE TODAY)

African Americans and their culture provided the foundation for most of the music we enjoy today! Hip-Hop, Rock n’ Roll and Electronic Dance Music can all be traced back to African American pioneers. In the 1970s our brothers and sisters began hip-hop/rap in the “housing projects of New York City”. (, 2007) During the 1930s a “Queer Black Woman” was the unsung hero of rock n’ roll for decades. (, 2018) Lastly in the late 1970s and early 1980s “Gay Black Men” were the ones that helped create electronic dance music. (Billboard, 2018) With so much to thank African Americans it is with solidarity that Create. stands alongside our friends in Black Lives Matter

Phyphr & Dredlok

Until we can change our current narrative and reality as a society we will continue to struggle with issues that divide us. In the EDM community there are four pillars of truth that allow us to avoid discrimination and judgement. Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. The entire reason I fell in love with the EDM scene was the fact that race, religion or economic status was not a factor in constructing life-long friendships. Never have I ever seen a more diverse crowd than when I attend an electronic music festival. People from all over the world come together in unity to celebrate music and love. If we want to continue enjoying music we must Create. a different atmosphere in order for all of us to be able to Create. together without fear of inequality or discrimination!

Author’s Note: The fact that Create. has taken the initiative to donate all Online Purchases to Black Lives Matter (until July 4th, 2020) is something that brought tears to my eyes, when first proposed. Being multi-racial I have experienced racial discrimination and profiling my entire life. The Create. team has done nothing but support our community by educating themselves to the pain and struggles of our fellow brothers and sisters and using their platform to educate others as well. I am forever grateful to be part of such a progressive, innovative and compassionate team. Let us continue together with love and light for all!

North Carolina Production Company Throws Successful Show Amid World Wide Pandemic.

Illuminé Projection Domes & Create. presented a virtual reality audio/visual experience, that benefited Doctors Without Borders and was powered by VRChat & Twitch, a one of a kind experience in a virtual world.

Our event took place in an alternate dimension called, VRChat, this virtual reality platform is a place where users can become all kinds of quirky characters and interact in creative games and activities with other users from all over the world.

VRChat has been the leading platform for virtual reality experiences which has benefited people with life-altering disabilities.

With social distancing and the need for social interaction growing, Create. and it’s associates put their heads together to find a solution: a unique virtual reality experience like no other.

Not only did Illuminé Projection Domes provide an incredible 3-D visual dome around the virtually constructed stage; top of the line DJ/Producers were streaming simultaneously through our Create. networks and Twitch.

The combination of mind-blowing visuals alongside a heavyweight line-up of DJ/Producers made our event a pioneering success.

To be the first group of individuals to host a virtual reality Electronic Dance Music event is something to truly be proud of.

The attendance was so impressive that multiple worlds had to be created to host a significant amount of users.

Each world could substantially hold 25 users at a time and with close to 200 attendees we needed multiple worlds for this virtual extravaganza to contain this multitude of users.

In addition to the dome visuals, Glass Crane provided a fully immersive 3-D art gallery for users to peruse.

With an amazingly constructed virtual world that included live musical and visual performances, it is no question why our virtually immersive experience was an unforgettable evening!

The many visual artists that participated in this event were working closely with their respective live performers making a perfect mesh of audio and visual information for our attendees and LIVE viewers to encode.

Visuals were inventively constructed by Glass Crane, Planz Visuals, Anti-alias and VJ Professor Lightwave. Live performances were conducted by Stylust, Ahee, PPLPRSN, EOS Music, Image.Nation, ROGUE, Disco Johnnie and for the pre-party celebrations Space Platypus. As a loyal Create.or, Space Platypus is always willing to throw-down for us!

The Greensboro local and triad native, Disco Johnnie, had a very special birthday set as he laid a path for the other artists of the night. With his natural ear for good music and well-practiced mixing skills this musician had a great set full of some dirty dubstep and wonky wubs.

Following the disco don’, is a veteran in the ‘DnB’ scene; ROGUE. This key influencer and Create.or not only is an expert mixer/producer of drum and bass but showed off his versatility in this virtual experience by mixing a varied conclave of electronic genres.

Image.Nation was next to the stage, and although he had technical difficulties at first, he was able to eventually execute an entertaining set. His retro-electronic style made dancing a contagious but also nostalgic experience.

Following him was Ahee one of the most creative minds in the Electronic Music scene. Getting his start touring and producing with The Lucent Dossier Experience, Ahee now lights up dance floors with his unique blend of high energy dance floor bangers and sonically complex bass tunes that have captured the attention of thousands. Known for his prolific output and friendly online personality, Ahee‘s engaging live sets are often 100% original material.

Headlining we had the Los Angeles producer, Stylust. Known for his sleeveless, whimsical synergy with his fans, Geoff “Stylust” Reich has been creating his own counterculture since he was a teenager. A skateboarder and hip hop devotee, this dubstep DJ’s talent for fusing rap hooks and bass beats with electronic music has earned him the rep as a creative renegade carving his own path.

With a style that captivates any music lovers with a pulse, this Canadian-bred Los Angeles producer has emerged as a front runner in the new wave of EDM. Blending classic ‘turntablism’ with cutting edge tech prowess, Geoff has been touring as Stylust since 2008. He surely proved his expertise in mixing with a flawless set wearing one of the iconic tie-dye Create. hoodies. We have always enjoyed working with Stylust because of his lovable charisma and undeniable professionalism which made his set one worth re-watching on our twitch channel!

To close off the night we had a duo of amazing personalities PPLPRSN and EOS Music. PPLPRSN in combination with VJ Professor Lightwave had a mesmerizing myriad of visuals combined with his whimsical wubs! It was truly a trip into a 16-bit heaven of iconic video games and visuals. Hailing from the marijuana capital of the world, Denver, RUN DMT’s alternate ego knew how to appease his enlightened audience of listeners. To finish off the night, EOS Music, executed an ejecting conglomeration of sounds in order to engage his virtual audience. Also hailing from the great state of Colorado, this talented musician made his mark in the virtual world by closing out the night with style. The rest of the Create. team held a short after party with can be found in the twitch archives.

Finally, Create. would like to give Matt Buelt a very special thanks for being the architect that constructed the virtual world we were able to hold this event at. His design and creativity are skills that many in his field must surely envy. Not only does this genius designer create virtual reality wonders, but he also fiddles with claymation, unity 3D, photoshop, world building, music, and all kinds of surreal art! With such an expansive array of artistic skills, it was an honor to have such a talented creator provide us with a state of the art planet to hold an entertaining gathering of music-loving individuals.

Overall this Virtual Reality experience was one of a kind! For the first time, a group of individuals came together and organized a virtual rave in order to entertain the electronic music lovers in quarantine. With no live music events this was the perfect alternative for so many music lovers across the internet. With the amazing response and support from attendees, we are sure to hold more virtual events in the not so distant future!

Create., Sunday Swerve & Infrasonic Sound Systems bring you a unique and meticulously precautionary musical journey; ELECTRIC AVENUE: a Drive-In Audio/Visual Experience.

For the first time Create. and it’s associates have teamed up to host a Drive-In style live show featuring Saxsquatch, Phyphr, Cut Rugs, KirbyBright and Dredlok at Hounds Drive-In located in King’s Mountain, NC about 35 miles west of Charlotte.

Amid these tumultuous times in 2020, it takes a passionate and creative group of individuals to figure out a safe and responsible way to enjoy live music without putting ourselves, or our precious loved ones at risk.

One of the Create. team members, James Hurley, grew up watching drive-in movies as a kid and suggested the idea of hosting an electronic event with live performances and visuals!

Thanks to the incredible staff members and owners of Hounds Drive-In, Create. is now able to make this idea a reality.

With their experienced and properly trained staff, we are confident that Hounds Drive-In will be the best location to hold this event safely while adhering to all of the laws and precautions demanded by current state and federal guidelines due to Covid-19.

I find myself humbled to be working alongside such an incredible venue and team.

Sunday Swerve an Atlanta, Georgia based performing arts company is also teaming up with Create. to not only spread the good news but to also put our event on a worldwide platform, as they will be broadcasting our event LIVE!

Sunday Swerve has been hosting live streams since March of 2018, their experience in live broadcasting is paramount and will prove very beneficial with many not able to attend.

In addition to having a world-class live broadcast, Create. and Infrasonic Sound Systems have teamed up to bring you a top of the line sound system as well!

Infrasonic Sound Systems has always had the most professional work etiquette and provides the best equipment including a Funktion-One Soundsystem.

Visuals will be provided by many talented visual artists including Truffulatreez, Papa Bear, Sacramental Studios, and Optic Vibrations.

One of the opening acts can often be found wielding a ukulele, Dredlok a Wilmington, NC hero has had performances where he plays on multiple instruments including piano, saxophone, and even a didgeridoo!

Alongside his amazing instrumental skills, Dredlok also sings and has a steadily growing family of supporters found in his group, Dredlok & Friends.

Alongside Dredlok, the Asheville, NC native KirbyBright, also has dreadlocks!

It appears that talent may somehow be stored inside these luscious locks of hair because this talented producer and DJ can always wrangle a crowd into loving one another as he soothes his listeners with the hottest electrical lullabies the EDM genre has to offer.

On direct support; Cut Rugs, a Greensboro, NC native has honed his production skills to a point where ignoring his talents is undoubtedly foolish.

Now residing in Asheville, NC Cut Rugs has continuously been putting out great music on the most popular music platforms including one of my personal favorites his “Satisfaction – Benny Benassi Remix”.

Alongside this amazing producer is the multi-talented Phyphr hailing from Wilmington, NC, this amazing musician will make you fall in love with live instrumentation as you see his fingers expertly move across his guitar frets.

Known for his amazing charisma and positive outlook on life Phyphr is the perfect supporting act, combining original electronic music with beautifully written guitar riffs.

Last but most definitely not least we have Saxsquatch, the elusive Chapel Hill, NC beast that surprises all his listeners with his iconic look and prestigious talent.

When it comes to playing the saxophone, there are few people who can compare to the raw talent this musician has.

With his viral videos and hilarious covers of timeless songs, Saxsquatch is leading the game in live performances combining his production skills with live instrumentation in an exemplary manner.

We are confident that Saxsquatch will be an inspiration to everyone in attendance as we all gather together under the beautiful night sky at Hounds Drive-In movie theater!
